If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. - Mark 4:23 (NASB)
One day this week my daughter and I were talking about others who may be interested in God because of the way we live and it’s important to live in such a way that others may see the light of Christ. We talked about how others may ask a question about God or share what they think about God. My daughter said, “This would be the time to grab their ears to listen. Some will listen and some will just say ‘Phooey.’”
Whether we are followers of Christ or curious about who Christ is, God wants our attention so we can learn about Him and His ways. The more we seek and apply what God is saying, the more truth He will reveal to us. (Verses 24-25)
What do you believe God is saying to you? Will you “grab your ears or say phooey?”
Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching us to seek You, thank You that You want to speak to those who will listen. May we open our ears and hear, may we desire to learn more of Your truth as we grow and share with others.
